Praying Through Infertility

Trusting God's Perfect Timing
I remember the first time my husband and I tried to get pregnant; it took months and months for us to conceive. I wanted a baby so bad that we couldn't seem to get pregnant, so I know how painful it was to have to wait and wait. Each month, I would pray that this would be the month that I found the little + sign on the stick and that I was pregnant.
God’s timing is not always our timing. I now understand that if I got pregnant months or years before, I would not have my son Micah or my daughter Malia that I have today! You see, there would have been a completely different set of chromosomes and I would have completely different children than my children that I have today. God knows what He’s doing!
If you and your husband are struggling in this area, I believe that the best thing that you can do is to pray together for God to give you that baby that He has planned for you and to trust in His timing. He knows exactly when the right time is for you to become pregnant.
I know that sometimes it’s hard to realize that God’s plans are not always our plans. But our Heavenly Father does understand what you are going through and He loves you dearly.
If you have been trying to conceive and cannot get pregnant, I encourage to spend time alone in prayer each day. Our Heavenly Father longs to hear from you and He cares about every need that you bring before Him.
I kindly want to address one more area you may not have thought of. The Lord says that we are to come to Him and repent of our sins, have a clean heart. In the book a Psalm it says:. "Search me,
O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts." Psalm 139:23. Sometimes we need to repent and ask for forgiveness or maybe we need to forgive somebody else.
But please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that your sin is the reason that you are not getting pregnant.
I just have seen much breakthrough in my prayers when I confess my sins to Him and have a clean heart before the Lord.
Infertility prayer - A Prayer to get Pregnant
Dear Heavenly Father,
I don't know the reason why I've not been able to get pregnant, but I trust You. I want a child so badly, but I know that Your timing is better than my timing. As I put my trust inYou during this difficult season, I pray that I grow closer and closer to You.
Heavenly Father, if there is anything blocking my prayers or anything I need to confess, please speak to my heart and let me know what it is and please forgive me now. I know Your Word says that You hear the prayers of a righteous man (or woman) so I always want to be in right standing with You, Lord.
Or if there is something that needs to be healed in my body, I asked that You heal me right now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
I love you, Lord God. Jesus, You are my Messiah, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. When I conceive, I will give all the glory and honor to You, the creator of life.
Please help me to conceive soon and give birth to a healthy baby. I put my faith in You alone, Lord.
And please help me to be a great mom (or dad) and please bless all of my children. I promise to teach them to follow You Lord, all of the days of their life
In faith, I thank You in advance for answering my prayer.
In the mighty name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
Living Healthy for Your Pregnancy

Another thing to consider is that God gave us clear instructions in the Bible on how to live a healthy lifestyle. I believe that God wants us to take care of ourselves (His temple) both spiritually and physically, by eating nutritious foods, exercising daily, getting enough sleep, and drinking plenty of water. There are numerous scriptures that talk about what we are to eat how exercise can benefit us how we are to rest and that he will give us sweet sleep and of course water is essential to life. If we don't have a healthy balance, our bodies will break down and may not work properly. I believe that these things are vital for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
For example, we all know that smoking and drinking alcohol is not ok to do during pregnancy. (Honestly, it's not good to do at any time!) But these are a few things that can contribute to both infertility and miscarriage. But did you know that certain foods could also harm both you and your baby?
Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying that if you eat a perfect diet and exercise daily, that you will conceive right away or will not miscarry... I just want to encourage you to do these things to build your body into
a healthy home for your little one to live in for about nine months.
So I wrote this book to give you guidelines to follow for your entire nine months of pregnancy. You can find out more information here and how to download your copy today.
